Free childcare for 2 year olds
Free childcare for 2 year olds (15 hours weekly). You may qualify if you get income support, income based job seekers allowance or child tax credit.

Free early learning for 3 & 4 year olds
All three and four year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free early education for 38 weeks of the year. This applies until they reach compulsory school age (the term following their fifth birthday).
Free early learning gives children the best start in life. Through learning and playing with other children in a safe and structured environment, they’ll have a head start when they begin school.

Childcare tax credits
You may be able to get extra tax credits to help with childcare costs, if you’re a working parent.

The maximum you can get for childcare costs is £122.50 a week for 1 child, or £210 a week for 2 or more children.
